Some parts of the Act are easier, others aren't. English is the same as the SAT but you get less time per problem. Math is a little easier but towards the end the problems are just as hard. Reading is way easier but 35 minutes for 40 questions. Science is super easy but extreme time crunch.

In my opinion about 80% of the "terrible curve" issues are a result of these math changes, not reading and writing. (Though admittedly those areas also seem to have been slightly weakened by CB.) I am trying to get SAS data from a user who took the December 2018 SAT as a rare form in June.
