Beaver gets plenty of fresh snow 400"+ on average and has a respectable vertical drop ~1600'. Sheltered between two parallel ridges the Beaver Mt. Beaver Mountain / Ski the Beav would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the terribly arranged way to pay for stuff. The staff are friendly, good variety of runs, great snow, and good prices on lifts, rentals, and food. We went the day after christmas which is one of the busiest times of the year and even then it only took just a few minutes to get on most lifts.This title is confusing because that's not the family run ski area in Logan Canyon known since 1939 for the tag line "Ski The Beav!" It's a massive Colorado ski resort that opened in 1980 to sell real estate. They do have pretty good cookies everyday at 3pm though!
