However on its own merits, the 2/64 is a really competent DAC. Used prices for the gungnir have fallen though, so you can pick one up for a hundred or a couple hundred more than a Bifrost with tax and shipping. I'm happy with the sound of the Bifrost 2 Analog Devices version. I don't know how the Texas Instruments 2/64 version sounds in comparison. Firmware update to address Bifrost 2/64 issues is out! Yep can confirm this worked for me and fixed the issue! Didn’t have an issue but updated anyway. Hopefully it works for everyone. Absolutely love that they were able to address this issue as quickly as they did.
