Place a business card between the brake pad and the pto bell. Hold it tight and tighten the bolts. Release the pto and remove business card. Ready to go.

Posted November 23, 2023 (edited) Hmmmm a free 310-8..... sounds familiar. Good luck with it. Mine was free as well. I replaced the fuel lines, fuel pump, carburetor, and head gasket. Gave it a little paint and new decals. It now runs and drive like a new machine. Edited November 23, 2023 by D_Mac.The confusion arises because I believe there is a 37" deck (possibly 05-37SC02) that uses a conventional belt (3 sided) and consequently the pulley configuration changes for the idler and mule on that deck.
